[Financial News] Genesis and Hyundai Motor Company swept 1st place in J.D. Power's New Car Advanced Technology Satisfaction Survey, being recognized for their world-class technology.
Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 25th that in the '2025 U.S. Tech Experience Index Study (TXI)' by the U.S. market research firm J.D. Power, Genesis (538 points) topped both the overall brand and premium brand categories, beating out leading global car brands, and Hyundai (493 points) ranked 1st in the general brand category.
This result is significant as it proves Hyundai Motor Group's technological leadership in the global market through customer-centric technology development and continuous innovation, and it is evaluated as a brand with world-class technology and quality for many years.
Genesis scored the highest score of 538 points among luxury and general brands, ranking 1st in the overall brand category for 5 consecutive years, while Hyundai scored 493 points, ranking 1st in the general brand category for 6 consecutive years.
This TXI survey was conducted on consumers who purchased 2025 model year new cars, 90 days after vehicle ownership, from March 2024 to February 2025.
The TXI survey evaluates the level of new technology innovation and ease of use of each brand through customer surveys asking about satisfaction with over 40 technologies included in four categories: △Convenience △Latest Automation Technology △Energy and Sustainability △Infotainment and Connectivity, on a 1000-point scale.
Meanwhile, Genesis GV80 and Hyundai Santa Fe were selected as cars with the best technology applied in the 'Advanced Technology Awards' during the TXI technology evaluation.
Genesis GV80 was selected as the car with the best technology in the connected vehicle category, receiving excellent evaluations for the convenience of the Genesis Digital Key 2, which allows easy vehicle control via smartphone.
Hyundai Santa Fe received the highest evaluation in the connected vehicle technology category for 2 consecutive years with the digital key function, and received high evaluations in the driver assistance category with the blind-spot monitor that provides enhanced visibility when changing lanes.
A Hyundai Motor Group official said, "This award shows that Hyundai Motor Group's technology is naturally integrated into the driving experience," and added, "We will continue to develop innovative technologies and apply them to more vehicles to fully meet customer needs."
