President Lee, Departs for the U.S. After Completing Japan Schedule with Farewell at Haneda Red Carpet

[Financial News] President Lee Jaemyung boarded a private jet at Tokyo Haneda International Airport on the afternoon of the 24th, after completing the farewell event, heading to Washington DC, USA, after wrapping up his Japan schedule.
According to the presidential office, President Lee departed from Tokyo Haneda Airport on the afternoon of the same day on Air Force One, the presidential aircraft.
President Lee wore a black suit with a navy, white, and red striped tie, while First Lady Kim wore an ivory two-piece outfit. The two exchanged smiles and greetings with our side's Acting Ambassador to Japan Kim Janghyun and his wife, Kim Ijung, head of the Korean Residents Union in Japan, and Japan's Ambassador to Korea Mizushima Koichi, and Kanai Masaaki, Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
After exchanging greetings with those who came to see them off, President Lee and the First Lady boarded Air Force One around 3 PM.
President Lee will begin his three-day visit to the U.S. with a dinner meeting with Korean-Americans after arriving in Washington DC on the afternoon of the 24th local time.
