Samsung C&T Selected as Construction Company for Samho Garden 5th Reconstruction

[Financial News] Samsung C&T's construction division announced on the 24th that it has been finally selected as the construction company for the reconstruction of Samho Garden 5th Apartment in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
The Samho Garden 5th Reconstruction Association selected Samsung C&T as the preferred negotiation partner on March 29, and passed the agenda to finally select Samsung C&T as the construction company at the general meeting held on the 23rd.
The Samho Garden 5th Reconstruction is a project to create a total of 2 buildings, 306 households, and auxiliary welfare facilities on a site of 13,365㎡ at 30-1 Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, with a scale of 4 basement floors to 35 above-ground floors. The construction cost is about 236.9 billion won.
Samsung C&T proposed 'Raemian Parapeak Banpo' as the new complex name. It is a combination of Para (transcendental) beyond Peak (summit), meaning that this complex, located at the very center of the Raemian Triangle connecting Banpo, Seocho, and Jamwon, will be the pinnacle of high-end beyond the existing high-end.
First, Samsung C&T implemented an integrated landmark design for the completion of the landmark Raemian in two buildings. The exterior of the complex, inspired by the curves of the juniper tree trunk, a symbol of Seocho, connects a dynamic flow from the ground to the streamlined sky community at the highest point.
The panoramic view enjoyed from the sky community located on the 35th floor, the highest floor, is also spectacular. It offers views of Banpo's cityscape along with views of Umyeon Mountain, Gwanak Mountain, Mido Mountain, and even the Han River and Namsan Tower. In addition, a brunch cafe, atelier, garden, and other elegant spaces are provided to offer a special experience.
Above all, the existing maintenance plan of 3 buildings was reduced to 2 buildings to enhance the openness of the complex, and a central plaza of about 2,000㎡ was planned in the expanded ground space to expand leisurely rest areas.
Another feature is the reallocation of separate community facilities to integrate them underground and maximize mobility convenience. A top-notch community with a total of 30 programs, including a fitness club, golf club, and sports lounge, will be established.
In addition, a basic ceiling height of 2.5m and panoramic windows were applied to maximize the openness of each household. Furthermore, a customized interior considering the tastes and discernment of residents is provided, along with the 'Raemian Furniture Wall Option', a modular furniture system, to add freedom to space composition.
