The Ministry of the Interior and Safety (Minister Yoon Ho-jung) announced on the 24th that it successfully concluded the operation of the Integrated Korean Pavilion at the 'Secutech Vietnam 2025' held in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
'Secutech Vietnam' is a representative disaster safety industry exhibition in Southeast Asia, and this year, approximately 17,000 people including the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Vietnamese government and public institution officials, businesspeople, and buyers visited.
This Integrated Korean Pavilion featured 25 promising domestic disaster safety companies showcasing innovative products and technologies in various fields such as firefighting, disaster prevention, and public safety.
During the exhibition, a total of 447 business consultations were conducted with local buyers, resulting in the promotion of contracts worth approximately 27 billion won.
In particular, Jinwoo SMC Co., Ltd. (a special firefighting vehicle manufacturer) signed a purchase contract worth about 8.5 billion won with the Vietnamese state-owned enterprise Thanglong Company for unmanned fire suppression water trucks (5 units).
Additionally, 7 MOUs were signed regarding product purchases with local companies, laying the foundation for the entry and expansion of cooperation of Korean disaster safety companies in the Vietnamese market.
Firebuster Lab (a firefighting equipment manufacturer) signed MOUs with 4 Vietnamese design and construction companies for the use of high-output and high-pressure sprinkler systems.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety plans to operate an Integrated Korean Pavilion at 'Riscon Tokyo 2025', Japan's largest disaster safety industry exhibition, in October to support the entry and technological cooperation of promising domestic disaster safety companies into the Japanese market.
Kim Yong-gyun, Director of Safety Prevention Policy, stated, "With the operation of this Integrated Korean Pavilion, a bridgehead has been established for domestic disaster safety companies to enter the Southeast Asian market, including Vietnam," and added, "The government will continue to strengthen support to enable domestic companies with excellent products and technologies to actively enter overseas markets."
