KOSPI Closes Higher at 3160 Level... Foreign Net Buying [fn Closing Market]

[Financial News] The KOSPI index closed higher at the 3160 level on the 22nd.
On this day, the KOSPI closed at 3168.73, up 26.99p (0.86%) from the previous trading day. Starting at 3165.41, up 0.75% from the previous day, the KOSPI expanded its rise to 3181.95 (1.28%) during the day but closed with a strong consolidation.
In the stock market, foreigners and institutions net bought 1807 billion won and 1591 billion won, respectively. On the other hand, individuals net sold 4584 billion won.
Among the top market cap companies, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix closed at 71400 won (1.13%) and 251000 won (2.45%), respectively. Hanwha Aerospace, which showed a strong 6% increase, also closed higher at 891000 won.
By sector, transportation and equipment (2.37%), metals (1.52%), and pharmaceuticals (1.19%) rose, but medical and precision devices (-1.50%) fell.
The KOSDAQ index also closed at 782.51, up 5.27p (0.68%) from the previous session. In the KOSDAQ market, foreigners net bought 440 billion won, but individuals and institutions net sold 286 billion won and 73 billion won, respectively.
