[Financial News] A fire broke out at the flower complex in Segok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 22nd, and the fire department began extinguishing efforts.
According to the fire department, the fire occurred around 2:14 PM in a greenhouse area at 130 Segok-dong. The fire department immediately issued a level 1 response and began extinguishing operations, and the main blaze was contained by 2:51 PM.
So far, no casualties have been reported. There are also no reports of rescue or evacuation. However, the exact cause of the fire and the extent of property damage will be revealed through further investigation.
As the road at the scene was an 8-lane highway, there was no severe traffic congestion. However, since the Segok-dong flower complex is considered a representative fire-prone area within Gangnam-gu, there are calls for strengthened fire prevention and safety management in the future.
