Roh Tae-moon, acting head of Samsung Electronics Device eXperience (DX) division (president), held a town hall meeting for employees for the first time after taking office as acting head on the 21st and announced a new slogan related to the way of working. 'Start Bold, Move Fast' was confirmed through an employee vote. Acting head Roh also reiterated his commitment to leading 'Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovation'. 
On this day, starting at 2 PM, acting head Roh held the '2025 DX CONNECT' event of Samsung Electronics DX division and announced the '2030 Strategy' for a new leap forward. Acting head Roh said, "With the rapid development and spread of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the electronics industry is also evolving at an unprecedented speed, and it is time to revisit and establish our business strategy, way of working, and points of contact with customers." In particular, he presented three key goals: △AI Driven Company △Transition to a sustainable business structure through discovering new growth engines (Bold Growth) △Securing solid business capabilities based on technology, manufacturing, and quality (Core Strength). 
He also announced six key company-wide focus tasks to achieve this, including △AI innovation for all products and services △AI-based work productivity innovation △Fostering large new businesses △Expanding new growth engines for each business unit △Securing next-generation technology leadership △Strengthening core competitiveness of business such as development, manufacturing, and quality based on AI and data. 
Meanwhile, prior to DX CONNECT, about 2,200 questions were collected from employees on the direction the DX division should take, focusing on the division's mid-to-long-term vision, new growth engines, AI strategy, and AI-based work productivity improvement. Head of division Roh emphasized, "Based on our DNA of challenge and innovation, we will create an atmosphere where ideas can be boldly attempted and unfolded, and an environment where we can work passionately can take deeper root throughout the organization," and he stressed the importance of continuing communication with employees in the future.soup@fnnews.com Lim Soo-bin Kim Joon-seok Reporter
