[Financial News] KOSPI is maintaining its uptrend due to institutional net buying during the session.
As of 1:28 PM on the 21st, KOSPI is trading at 3153.74, up 23.65p (0.76%) compared to the previous trading day.
On this day, KOSPI started trading at 3140.71, up 10.62p (0.34%) from the previous day.
In the securities market, institutions are buying 284 billion KRW worth. It is a net buying trend for five consecutive trading days. On the other hand, individuals and foreigners are selling 251.6 billion KRW and 102 billion KRW worth, respectively.
The top market capitalization companies are generally mixed. Samsung Electronics is trading at 71,100 KRW, up 0.85% from the previous day, but SK Hynix is showing a decline in the 3% range.
By industry, machinery/equipment (4.46%) and construction (3.86%) are showing an upward trend.
The KOSDAQ index is trading at 780.37, up 2.76p (0.35%) from the previous day.
