Guiding natural response to heatwaves through heat-related illness prevention quizzes and prize events
Hanwha Construction announced on the 21st that they conducted the campaign for employees at the modernization construction site of the Daejeon Sewage Treatment Plant on the 20th.
This campaign is characterized by combining worker participation events with management safety inspections. On-site, a basic knowledge quiz on heat-related illness prevention was conducted, and those who answered correctly were given items such as cool sleeves and cool masks as prizes. Through this, workers naturally learned heatwave response tips.
After the event, Yoonhae Kim, the Safety and Environmental Management Director, toured the modernization site of the Daejeon Sewage Treatment Plant to check the implementation of the '5 Basic Rules for Heatwave Safety': water, shade, rest, cooling equipment, and emergency measures.
Director Kim urged, "All site staff should adhere more strictly to the 5 Basic Rules for Heatwave Safety for the safety and health of workers."
