[Financial News] The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced that it held the on-site communication program 'Visiting Jungjinkong' in Gumi, Gyeongbuk on the 21st, sharing solutions for the AI transition of small manufacturing businesses.
This event was prepared to spread the cases of small giants and promote the introduction of AI in manufacturing to secure future growth engines.
On this day, Jungjinkong visited CMTX, a manufacturer of key components for semiconductor processes. This company is recognized for its technology in the fields of silicon and ceramic components necessary for semiconductor etching processes and is expanding its presence in the global market. Since its establishment in 2013, it has grown based on various supports such as youth-exclusive startup funds, export vouchers, and the Tomorrow Filling Deduction, and surpassed 100 billion won in sales last year. It is currently pursuing a KOSDAQ listing in the second half of 2025.
Following the company visit, the 'Gyeongbuk Regional Company AI Transition Promotion Forum' was held at Hotel Geumosan, attended by Yang Geum-hee, Deputy Governor of Gyeongsangbuk-do, Lee Geon-hyeok, Vice President of LIG Nex1, and over 200 regional small business representatives. The event introduced AI utilization strategies tailored to manufacturing, successful introduction cases, and support systems from Jungjinkong and Gyeongbuk Province.
Kang Seok-jin, Chairman of Jungjinkong, said, "In the rapidly changing manufacturing environment with AI transition, we will spare no policy support to help small businesses integrate digital technology more effectively," and added, "We will faithfully play the role of a growth ladder so that promising small businesses can leap into medium-sized enterprises."
