[Financial News] Salesforce announced on the 21st that it has appointed Sejin Park, Vice President of Enterprise Sales, as the new CEO of Salesforce Korea. CEO Park (photo) will oversee all business operations in the Korean market for Salesforce, focusing on helping domestic companies create business outcomes through AI innovation and enhance competitiveness by utilizing AI agents.
CEO Park has been leading the enterprise sales organization since joining in 2024, promoting sales strategies centered on AI CRM and AI agents. In particular, he has supported the adoption of AI CRM by major domestic companies, leading to innovations in customer experience and achieving productivity improvements of over double digits, establishing AI CRM as a key driver of customer success and the growth of Salesforce Korea.
Before joining Salesforce, CEO Park accumulated over 20 years of experience at global IT companies such as SAP, Workday, and Oracle.
Through this appointment, Salesforce announced its intention to strengthen industry-specific AI strategies and execution capabilities, focusing on accelerating the AI innovation journey of domestic companies centered around AI agents.
CEO Park plans to expand contact points with domestic customers while focusing on major industries where the demand for AI utilization is exploding, such as manufacturing, finance, retail, consumer goods, and healthcare. In particular, he is committed to driving tangible outcomes and creating new business models that customers can experience based on AI agent technology.
New CEO Park stated, "At this critical time when AI is redefining business operations and the overall customer experience, I am very honored to take on the significant role of leading Salesforce's growth in the Korean market," adding, "We will work together to solve the various AI innovation challenges faced by domestic companies and strengthen our role as a reliable strategic partner to enhance global competitiveness."
Meanwhile, former CEO Son Bu-han plans to serve as a business advisor and consultant at Salesforce Korea.
