Samsung Display has exhibited 50 monitors equipped with its 32-inch 4K QD-OLED for this event in collaboration with Dell and MSI.
In particular, Alienware's AW3225QF product is the world's first 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor with a high refresh rate of 240Hz. Dell's S3225QC product is a monitor optimized for console games with enhanced 3D spatial audio through artificial intelligence (AI). MSI's MAG321UP product features MSI OLED Care 2.0 technology, providing a highly reliable gaming experience.
A Samsung Display representative explained, "The monitors exhibited this time are products that have obtained the 'Display HDR True Black 400' certification from the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA), with excellent black expression, contrast ratio, and color expression due to the optical characteristics of Quantum Dot," adding, "The vivid picture quality combined with brilliant color expression can enhance the immersion of the game."
Sonic Racing Crossworld, scheduled for official release in September, is a racing battle game featuring popular characters from the 'Sonic' series. Aibo Gusković, Sega's Chief Business and Brand Officer, said, "The best choice to fully experience the charm of Sonic Racing Crossworld, with its more splendid graphics and thrilling speed, is QD-OLED," adding, "Through QD-OLED, which provides perfect picture quality without blurring even with fast movements, you can feel a different level of immersion."
Meanwhile, Samsung Display has installed 65 and 77-inch QD-OLED TVs on the outer wall of the Sega booth. The strategy is to introduce Sonic Racing Crossworld with the best picture quality.
