Based on Revised Guidelines Reflecting Latest International Trends
Promoting Basic and Advanced Training... Supporting Overseas Expansion

[Financial News] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 21st that it will conduct the '2025 International Greenhouse Gas Reduction Project Training' at the Overseas Construction Education Center in two sessions starting from the 22nd.
The international reduction project is a climate change response project that supports the sustainable development of developing countries and contributes to achieving the 2030 Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) for greenhouse gas reduction.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport annually supports feasibility studies for international reduction projects after public offerings and reviews. This year, it is also promoting support for equipment and installation projects.
The Ministry is conducting education, briefings, and corporate consulting for interested companies annually to encourage active participation in international greenhouse gas reduction projects. This year, the education will be conducted based on the revised 'International Greenhouse Gas Reduction Project Implementation Guidelines for Operators' reflecting the latest international trends.
To this end, the Overseas Construction Association, the dedicated organization, has signed a business agreement with the Korea Climate Change Research Institute, a specialized research institution, and planned substantial international reduction project training by reflecting the satisfaction survey results of last year's training.
The training will provide basic education on international trends for project beginners on the 22nd and advanced education on implementation procedures for international reduction project performers on the 26th.
The revised guidelines to be used as training materials will be distributed in PDF format. Companies and institutions wishing to participate in the training can attend by accessing the QR code on the attached poster and completing the application form.
Lee Sang-il, Policy Planning Officer, said, "This training will not only provide learning on how to promote international reduction projects but also allow participants to learn practical know-how through case sharing of leading companies participating in international reduction projects," adding, "The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the dedicated organization will continue to strive for the achievement of NDC and the overseas expansion of our companies."
