Participation of 350 Furniture Companies from 15 Countries
[Financial News] The Korea Furniture Industry Cooperative Federation announced on the 20th that the '2025 Korea International Furniture and Interior Industry Exhibition (KOFURN·Kopun)' will be held from the 28th to the 31st at KINTEX in Ilsan. Kopun is a representative furniture exhibition that aims to advance the furniture industry by providing sales channels for furniture companies and presenting furniture industry trends.
This year marks the 36th edition of Kopun, with participation from 350 furniture companies from 15 countries, and it is expected to be held on a scale of 1,350 booths. The furniture fair Kopun, held over four days including the weekend, is planned as a practical furniture and interior exhibition with special benefits. It covers the entire furniture industry, including home living furniture, office furniture, home decor, interior, raw materials, and woodworking machinery, providing a venue for practical transactions and information exchange among industry professionals.
Participating companies include renowned domestic brands such as Emons Furniture, Amos Eins, Jangsu Stone Bed, and Tempur, which are expected to showcase strategies to maximize consumer satisfaction despite the economic downturn through brand-specific discounts and new product launches.
Overseas companies from Indonesia, China, Malaysia, and Egypt will participate, using high-quality solid wood and showcasing advanced craftsmanship, opening a venue for global sourcing. Additionally, by inviting overseas buyers, it provides an opportunity for domestic manufacturers to expand their global network.
This year's Kopun is held simultaneously with the Korea Wood Industry Fair and the Korea International Woodworking Machinery Exhibition, allowing visitors to see a variety of products from related industries at reasonable prices in one place.
Additionally, the exhibition will support the foundation for industrial advancement through talent discovery and technology and design exchange within the industry, through events such as the Furniture Living Design Contest and the Industry-Academia Cooperation Exhibition.
Admission is free with pre-registration, and the admission fee is 10,000 won for on-site registration. During the exhibition period, a prize event will be held for visitors. A Kia Ray will be given away to customers through a draw, and the first 500 visitors each day will receive a folding shopping cart, a MagSafe fast charger, and a fan.
