Husband in his 70s Arrested for Striking Wife with Dementia with a Blunt Object

[Financial News] A husband who struck his wife suffering from dementia on the head with a blunt object has been caught by the police.
Seoul Dongdaemun Police Station announced on the 20th that they have arrested a man in his 70s, Mr. A, on charges of attempted murder.
Mr. A is accused of striking his wife in her 80s on the head twice with a blunt object at an apartment in Dongdaemun-gu around 8:40 PM the previous day.
Mr. A turned himself in to the police after the crime and was arrested on the spot.
Mr. A's wife was transported to the hospital, and it was found that there is no threat to her life.
A police official stated, "We plan to ascertain the exact circumstances of the crime."
