Minister Han stated this during the policy field tour held at the Daejeon Startup Park in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, emphasizing that "Re-entrepreneurship is not merely repeating closures and startups, but a process of expanding the 'experience' asset accumulated by our society into a new 'growth engine'."
The policy field tour was organized to listen to the industry’s field difficulties and policy suggestions by meeting with re-entrepreneurship companies, re-entrepreneurship support organizations, and academic experts.
During the field tour, discussions were held on △resolving financial difficulties of re-entrepreneurs through expanded financial support such as investment △policy linkage measures for scaling up re-entrepreneurs △improving access to re-entrepreneurship policies for senior entrepreneurs △spreading a positive culture of re-entrepreneurship.
There was also a discussion on the blind spot of the joint liability prohibition system for venture investment, which has been pointed out as an obstacle to re-challenge for startup companies. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that it plans to introduce a joint liability prohibition clause for startup planners and individual investment associations where startup planners are executive members, which had some regulatory deficiencies.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups plans to quickly review and promote the suggestions proposed during this policy field tour and reflect them in the 'Re-entrepreneurship and Re-challenge Activation Plan' and the 'Global Venture 4 Major Countries Comprehensive Plan' scheduled to be announced this year.
