Donated 260,000 hygiene products to 13,000 children over the past 2 years
[Financial News] Yuhan-Kimberly announced on the 20th that it will conduct the 'Kleenex Happy Clean Campaign' for children in hygiene-vulnerable groups.
Yuhan-Kimberly Kleenex launched the Happy Clean Campaign in 2023 with the intention of fulfilling its responsibility for hygiene and care in our society. Since the launch of the campaign, Kleenex has donated approximately 260,000 Kleenex hygiene products to about 13,000 children over two years and has improved the hygiene environment of child protection facilities.
The Kleenex Happy Clean Campaign is conducted in collaboration with Naver Happy Bean. Consumers can participate in the campaign in three ways: donations, cheering comments, and purchasing campaign exhibition products, contributing to a better life for children.
Kleenex will donate 3% of the Happy Clean exhibition sales to the toilet improvement project for child protection facilities. In addition, if 5,000 cheering comments are achieved on the campaign page, an additional 13,000 hygiene products, including Kleenex toilet paper, My Bidet toilet wipes, and paper wipes, will be donated.
The goal of the Happy Clean Campaign is to convey values beyond simple hygiene environment improvement. By improving the toilet hygiene environment, it helps children's healthy growth and ultimately focuses on enabling children to recognize themselves as respected and precious beings in a warm and safe environment.
The campaign will run until September 14.
The person in charge of the Kleenex Happy Clean Campaign said, "Toilet hygiene should be maintained from the perspective of care and human rights, not just convenience," and "As a brand that has contributed to the development of hygiene culture in our society, we will continue to strive to protect children's clean daily lives."
