[Financial News] The Presidential Office stated on the 20th, "The preemptive measures for peace on the Korean Peninsula by the Lee Jae-myung government are not actions for unilateral benefit or conscious of anyone, but for the stability and prosperity of both North and South."
The Presidential Office made this statement regarding the remarks of Kim Yo-jong, Deputy Director of the Workers' Party of Korea, saying, "The government will surely open a new era of peaceful coexistence and joint growth on the Korean Peninsula, leaving behind the era of hostility and confrontation."
Previously, Deputy Director Kim targeted President Lee Jae-myung, saying, "He is not a figure who will change history," and downplayed the South Korean government's North Korea policy.
