Wangneung Palgyeong is an experiential one-day tour program that links Joseon royal tombs and palaces with surrounding historical and cultural resources, allowing participants to travel with a professional instructor. It is designed so that participants can directly stroll through the royal tombs to understand historical events and ceremonies related to the 'Neunghaeng' of the Joseon Dynasty.
In the first half, approximately 300 people participated in six course programs including △Joseon Royal Family Neunghaeng-gil (Paju Samneung) △Samjeon Neunghaeng-gil (Namyangju Gwangneung) △Seongjong Neunghaeng-gil (Yeoju Yeongneung) △Danjong's Road (Yeongwol Jangneung) △Sukjong Neunghaeng-gil (Goyang Seooreung) △Jeongjo's Journey (Hwaseong Yungneung and Geolleung).
The second half program adds △Daehan Empire Bongshim-gil (Seoul Uireung) and △Sunjong Emperor Neunghaeng-gil (Guri Donggureung and Namyangju Hongneung) to the existing six courses, making a total of eight courses.
Each course offers various experiences such as pottery craft experience, Yeongwol five-day market experience, royal tomb stone craft experience, royal tomb forest sound therapy, and music performances. All participants will also receive a specially made 'Joseon Royal Tombs Yutnori' as a souvenir.
The number of participants is 25 per session. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through Naver Reservation from 11 a.m. on the 21st (September reservation), the 25th of next month (October reservation), and October 16 (November reservation).
