[Financial News] Kyung Hee University Medical Center held the inauguration ceremony for the Director of Kyung Hee University Hospital and the Director of Kyung Hee University Dental Hospital at the 1st Seminar Room of the Biomedical Research Building of Kyung Hee University Hospital on the 20th.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Oh Joo-hyung, Director of Kyung Hee University Medical Center, Lee Woo-in, Director of Gangdong Kyung Hee University Hospital, Jung Hee-jae, Director of Kyung Hee University Oriental Medicine Hospital, Kim Deok-yoon, Director of Future Strategy Office of Kyung Hee University Medical Center, Lee Eun-young, Head of the Labor Union Branch of Kyung Hee University Medical Center, and about 150 other key officials and staff members.
Kim Jong-woo, the newly appointed Director of Kyung Hee University Hospital (Department of Psychiatry), who was appointed on the 8th, graduated from Kyung Hee University College of Medicine in 1990 and obtained his master's and doctorate degrees from the same graduate school.
He has held major positions such as Director of the Clinical Trial Center of the Clinical Medicine Research Institute, Head of the Education Department, and Deputy Director of Planning and Medical Affairs, and is also active externally as the President of the Korean Neuropsychiatric Association and an advisor to the Korean Society of Biological Psychiatry.
Director Kim, in his inaugural address, said, "I feel a deep sense of pride in the fact that all members have united to overcome numerous challenges and grow into a truly patient-centered advanced general hospital in the rapidly changing medical environment," and "I intend to wisely prepare for the future with a heavy sense of responsibility, confidence, and courage."
He continued, "We will do our best to secure potential growth by promoting the successful settlement of the advanced general hospital restructuring project, strengthening capabilities in severe, essential, and emergency medical care, and making a full-scale leap as a research-centered hospital leading future medicine, including the operation of the CAR-T Cell Therapy Center and the phased introduction of high-value-added testing and treatment fields."
Kim Hyung-seop, the newly appointed Director of Kyung Hee University Dental Hospital (Department of Prosthodontics), who was appointed on the 6th, graduated from Kyung Hee University College of Dentistry in 1994 and obtained his master's and doctorate degrees from the same graduate school. He has held major positions such as Head of the Infection Control Department, Head of the QI Department, Head of the Education Department, Director of the Integrated Treatment Center, and Deputy Director of Planning and Medical Affairs, and is also active externally as the Vice President of the Korean Dental Hospital Association and the Vice President of the Korean Academy of Prosthodontics.
Director Kim of the Dental Hospital said, "As the first private university dental hospital in Korea, Kyung Hee University Dental Hospital is leading dental medicine by providing patient-centered medical services and continuously engaging in academic excellence and research activities," and "We will take the lead in establishing a research-based treatment system and activating convergence research between industry, academia, research, and hospitals in line with the demands of the times and the flow of change, such as the shift to a digital-centered paradigm."
He continued, "In addition to innovative research and education, we will strive to become a medical institution that leads qualitative growth by enhancing accessibility for patient convenience, promoting space remodeling in stages, and strengthening communication and harmony among members."
Director Oh of the Medical Center said in his congratulatory speech, "Kyung Hee Medical Institution is dedicated to medical treatment, research, and education as a cradle of East-West medicine, where medicine, dentistry, and oriental medicine are integrated, under the founding philosophy of realizing a disease-free human society, leading the promotion of public health and the development of medicine."
He said, "As a reliable partner of the new hospital directors and a companion to open the future of Kyung Hee Medicine together, I will do my best to fulfill my duties with a practical sense of mission and actively lead innovation."
