Efforts to improve patient treatment environment and communicate with the government and make suggestions
[Financial News] The Korea Global Pharmaceutical Industry Association (KRPIA) announced on the 20th that it has unveiled a new logo to mark its 25th anniversary. The new logo of KRPIA is in green tones, symbolizing the lives of the people and patients. It uses a gradient effect to signify the spread and dissemination of innovation through the development, production, and supply of innovative new drugs by leading member companies in the global pharmaceutical and bio industry.
Furthermore, KRPIA symbolically represents the association's partnership and role in actively communicating with the government and suggesting policies to improve patient-centered treatment environments, enhance public health, and promote the growth of the domestic pharmaceutical industry.
In particular, the new logo color is inspired by the 'Olo' color, first discovered by researchers at the University of California, Berkeley campus this year.
The vivid turquoise 'Olo' is a color recognized only when special laser stimuli are applied to specific cells in the human retina, and it is evaluated as an innovative discovery and scientific approach that surpasses the limits of existing color perception.
KRPIA symbolically encapsulated the achievements and dedication of its member companies, which have been developing innovative new drugs while challenging previously untreatable diseases, in this color.
A KRPIA representative stated, "The newly renewed logo visually reflects the association's efforts and determination to continuously spread the value of innovation and strive for new drug development and distribution to enhance the lives and health of the people and patients."
Meanwhile, KRPIA, founded in 2000, is set to hold various commemorative events at Sebitseom in Seoul from September 23 to 25 to mark its 25th anniversary this year.
The association announced its intention to build a patient-centered treatment environment and promote mutual growth in the pharmaceutical industry through innovative new drug development and global cooperation by selecting 'Inspiring Innovation, Partnering the Future' as the final slogan in the 25th-anniversary slogan contest held earlier this year.
