Kibo and Hana Bank provide 20 billion financial support to foster technology SMEs in Chungcheong

[Financial News] Korea Technology Finance Corporation and Hana Bank have joined hands to support technology SMEs in the Chungcheong region.
Kibo announced on the 20th that it had signed a 'Financial Support Business Agreement for the Fostering of Technology SMEs in the Chungcheong Region' with Hana Bank at the Chungcheong Regional Headquarters. This agreement is aimed at providing a stable funding base for regional technology companies and supporting sustainable growth to promote economic revitalization and balanced development in the Chungcheong region.
According to the agreement, Kibo will supply a total of 20 billion won in special contribution agreement guarantees using the 1 billion won specially contributed by Hana Bank as a resource. The support targets are SMEs that meet Kibo's technology guarantee requirements and have their headquarters or main business sites in the Chungcheong region, including Daejeon and Sejong.
These companies can receive up to 300 million won in operating funds. In addition, preferential benefits such as △increased guarantee ratio (85%→100%, for 3 years) △reduced guarantee fees (0.2%p reduction, for 3 years) are also provided.
Jeong Dae-young, head of Kibo Chungcheong Regional Headquarters, said, “Through this agreement, the practical support base for fostering SMEs and venture companies in the Chungcheong region has been further strengthened,” adding, “Kibo will continue to expand cooperation with related organizations to support regional-led balanced development and economic revitalization in various ways.”
