Hoban Group to Host '2025 Hoban Innovation Technology Challenge'

[Financial News] Hoban Group announced on the 20th that it will host the '2025 Hoban Innovation Technology Challenge (2025 HIT CHALLENGE)' on the 20th. The technology challenge is a representative open innovation program to discover companies with innovative technologies to enhance the group's future competitiveness. Following the 'Hoban Next Startup Challenge', this competition, now in its 7th iteration, is collaborating with a total of 48 companies.
The recruitment fields are △Smart City (robotics, construction innovation, new energy technology, new construction materials, etc.) △Accommodation, Leisure, Distribution (smart golf courses, resource circulation, digital transformation, etc.) △Manufacturing (smart factories, renewable energy, etc.) △New Business (Ag-TECH, AI, mobility, ESG, drones, etc.) in four categories. Companies wishing to participate can apply through the 'Startup Plus' website by the 14th of next month.
According to Hoban, a total of 8 companies are expected to be selected as award-winning companies through document evaluation, on-site inspection, and presentation evaluation. The winning companies will be provided with prize money and commercialization support funds totaling approximately 200 million won. 
A company representative said, "This competition is a platform where the public and private sectors collaborate to realize innovative ideas," and "We will actively support promising companies' technologies so that they do not remain as ideas but can be applied to actual sites such as Hoban Construction and Hoban Industries."
