[Financial News] SK Telecom announced on the 20th that the SK Group exhibition hall, showcased at the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition 'CES 2025' held in Las Vegas, USA earlier this year, won the grand prize in the 'Brand & Communication' category at the '2025 Red Dot Design Awards'.
The Red Dot Design Awards, considered one of the world's top 3 design awards, is an international design competition organized by the Design Center of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, established in 1955. Each year, winners are selected in three categories: Product Design, Brand & Communication Design, and Design Concept.
This year's CES 2025 SK Group exhibition hall featured a structure that seemed to implement an actual AI data center in the main exhibition space. It installed an LED facade surrounding the exterior and a large 6-meter-high LED pillar inside.
At the front entrance of the exhibition hall, a 'Gate of Innovation' using 21 large kinetic LEDs measuring 2 meters wide and 2 meters high was installed, dynamically introducing the concept that 'all AI data starts from a single point, and these data connections initiate AI innovation'.
Through the media art 'Sustainable Tree' installed at the exhibition hall exit, SK's vision for a sustainable future was introduced with the light and movement of 66 triangular kinetic LEDs.
Previously, the SK Group exhibition hall was selected as a 'Must-See at CES' by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) for two consecutive years, last year and this year.
Additionally, from 2022 to this year, it was selected as one of the 'Best Exhibitors at CES' by Exhibitor Media Group, the largest exhibition and event company in the USA, for four consecutive years.
