[Financial News] SK Shieldus announced on the 20th that it will conduct the 'Small Business Digital Transformation Device Support Project' for 1000 small business sites nationwide in collaboration with Hana Bank. This project is a cooperative activity to support small businesses that find it difficult to adopt digital technology in a rapidly changing consumer environment, helping to enhance security, improve store operation efficiency, and increase customer accessibility.
SK Shieldus provides △Artificial Intelligence Closed Circuit (CC) TV △Clean Care and Air Package △Barrier-Free Kiosk △Hygiene Management Supplies Service △Caps Smart Heating and Cooling △QR Order, among 6 services. Through this, it supports a balanced digital transformation in store security, environment, and overall operations.
In particular, Caps Smart Heating and Cooling is expanding around multi-store and unmanned stores with AI and Internet of Things (IoT) based indoor temperature and humidity automatic control, remote control, and dedicated after-service (AS) support functions. The cumulative number of installations as of June this year increased by 11.3% compared to the previous year, and it has been analyzed to have about a 10% reduction effect in electricity usage.
SK Shieldus and Hana Bank have been jointly promoting small business support projects since 2023. This year, based on the capabilities of the domestic leading physical security brand ADT Caps, they expanded the support items to allow the selection of core services for store operation such as security, operational efficiency, and customer service improvement.
Applications for this project are available until September 2 through Hana Bank's mobile app 'Hana One Q' personal business channel 'Hana The Soho', and the Hana Bank and Hana Power On websites.
Jang Woong-jun, Vice President of SK Shieldus' Physical Security Division, said, “Building digital infrastructure is a key foundation for small businesses to respond to market changes and achieve sustainable growth,” and added, “We will continue to actively support strengthening the competitiveness of small businesses through customized services.”
