On the 20th, according to the police, the Seoul Central Police Station booked Mr. Choi on charges of violating the Stalking Crime Punishment Act and applied for an emergency protective order from the court, which was approved.

Mr. Choi is reportedly accused of visiting the house of a woman he knew while carrying a weapon.

The emergency protective order prohibits the stalker from approaching within 100 meters of the victim's residence and from contacting them via electronic communication.

According to the Stalking Punishment Act, if the perpetrator violates the emergency protective order, they may be fined up to 10 million won.

The police stated, "We are currently identifying the exact circumstances of the incident."
