[Financial News] The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 19th that it held the '2025 Cultural Digital Innovation and Data Utilization Contest' to discover innovative services combined with digital technology and selected 17 winning entries.
The grand prize in the best practice section was awarded to 'K in My Hands', an integrated K-culture journey platform, and 'Joseon Series', a virtual Korean traditional music instrument.
'K in My Hands' is a platform that supports K-culture fans with K-content learning, language, travel information, etc. The 'Joseon Series' is a service that allows the creation of Korean traditional music sound sources by optimizing over 6,000 digital sound sources of Korean traditional instruments provided by the National Gugak Center with artificial intelligence (AI).
The grand prize in the idea section went to the 'AI Music Component Combination Search Service', which accurately finds the song the user wants by combining 15 music components, and the 'Development Delay Screening and Care Solution', which analyzes children's developmental indicators with AI using content made from traditional patterns.
The grand prize in the data analysis section is awarded to the 'K-Novel Translation Market Decision Support Platform', which analyzes translation results and data to recommend user-customized content.
The newly established AI Utilization Special Award this year went to 'Graphitoon', a character video production tool for children's art therapy, and 'Silver Fit', which uses a smart mirror to guide seniors' exercise postures.
The awards ceremony will be held at the '2025 Cultural Digital Innovation Forum' at the Seoul Dragon City Hotel on November 18. The grand prize in each section will be awarded the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award and prize money. Detailed information can be found on the official website.
