[Financial News] Justem has embarked on full-scale overseas exports of its high-vacuum ionizer system.
Justem announced on the 19th that it has signed a contract to supply over 100 high-vacuum ionizer systems with Chinese display company A.
The high-vacuum ionizer system functions to control static electricity generated in the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) process in real-time, thereby increasing panel yield. Justem secured the core technology after a three-year research and development process starting in 2021 and officially launched it. There are over 50 related application and registration patents. Recognized for this technological prowess, it received the highest honor in research and development, the Jang Young-sil Award, in 2024.
Since 2023, Justem has been supplying ionizer systems to leading domestic display companies, gaining recognition for its utility and technology. From mid-2024, it sought to supply to Chinese display companies, resulting in its first step into the overseas market by supplying to Chinese company B in October of the same year.
This order was promptly carried out after completing a six-month verification of device reliability and yield improvement with company A. With this contract, Justem has secured the momentum to fully target the overseas display market.
Ha Jeong-min, head of Justem's technology research institute, said, "The high-vacuum ionizer system is optimal as a standard device for controlling static electricity in the OLED process," adding, "This order has recognized the originality and value of our technology."
