The Seoul Northern District Court Criminal Agreement Division 13 (Presiding Judge Na Sang-hoon) will hold the sentencing trial for Mr. Kim, who was charged with murder and attempted murder, at 10 a.m. today.

Previously, the prosecution demanded the death penalty for Mr. Kim, stating that it is difficult to expect the possibility of rehabilitation or recovery of humanity.

Mr. Kim is accused of killing a woman in her 60s with a weapon that was displayed at a mart in Mia-dong on April 22. The victim died from hypovolemic shock due to multiple stab wounds.
