CJ, Official Partner of the Korea Sports Council until 2028.. Various Marketing Collaborations including LA Olympics

[Financial News] CJ announced on the 18th that it has signed an official partner sponsorship agreement with the Korea Sports Council and will engage in various Olympic marketing collaborations such as title sponsorship of the Korea House for the Summer and Winter Olympics and food support for the national team.
This makes CJ the top-tier official partner of the Korea Sports Council, taking on the role until 2028.
CJ will be able to use the emblem of the Korea Sports Council and the title of official sponsor, and can conduct marketing promotions utilizing the emblem of the Korea Sports Council and Team Korea, collective portrait rights of the national team, and other intellectual properties.
Through this renewed contract, CJ can expand not only in the existing food sector sponsorship but also into sectors such as bio, entertainment, retail, and content that CJ Group is engaged in. CJ CheilJedang has been sponsoring the Korea Sports Council since the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
Honggi Kim, CEO of CJ, said, "Through the sponsorship of the Korea Sports Council, we will support the success of Team Korea athletes and the development of the overall environment of Korean sports," adding, "We will actively promote K-culture by utilizing CJ's strengths in food, entertainment, and content at mega sports events like the Olympics, which attract global attention."
