The special prosecutor team announced on the 18th through a media notice, "We have requested the summoning of former Prime Minister Han at 9:30 a.m. on the 19th." Former Prime Minister Han is accused of supporting and abetting the proclamation of martial law on December 3 by former President Yoon Seok-yeol, and of concealing the illegality of the martial law by being involved in the drafting and discarding of the martial law proclamation document. He also signed the martial law proclamation document drafted by former Presidential Office Chief Kang Ui-gu two days after the proclamation, but asked former Chief Kang to discard the document a few days later.

They have also summoned government ministers from the Yoon Seok-yeol administration who attended the cabinet meeting for the martial law proclamation to verify former Prime Minister Han's claims. The special prosecutor team is expected to soon review whether to request an arrest warrant.
