Woomi Hope Foundation Provides 155 Million Won in Scholarships to Descendants of National Meritorious Persons

Awarded to a total of 85 descendants in middle, high school, and university
Woomi Hope Foundation announced on the 18th that it held a scholarship award ceremony for descendants of national meritorious persons with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and Green Umbrella Children's Foundation at the Children's Foundation Building in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 14th.
At this award ceremony, Woomi Hope Foundation delivered scholarships of 3 million won to university students and 1 million won to middle and high school students, totaling 155 million won to 85 descendants of national meritorious persons.
Lee Choon-seok, the secretary-general, said, "We are striving to ensure that the next generation can live in a warmer country by remembering the noble will of national meritorious persons," and added, "We will support the dreams of descendants of national meritorious persons to repay them with practical changes, not just memories."
Meanwhile, Woomi Hope Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and Green Umbrella, is also operating the 'Heroes Family Program', which provides customized programs such as career mentoring, anniversary gifts, and family trips for minor children of fallen and deceased military and firefighters.
