[Financial News] LIG Nex1 is expanding and relocating its local office in Saudi Arabia to fully launch its Middle East export business.
LIG Nex1 announced on the 18th that it held a ceremony for the expansion and relocation of its local office in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on the 14th. The ceremony was attended by Shin Ikhyun, CEO of LIG Nex1, Lee Hyunsoo, Overseas Business Division Director, as well as key figures from local government and defense companies. With the expansion and relocation of the office, it is expected that the functions and roles of the local base will be strengthened in line with the expansion of the Middle East business.
LIG Nex1 has been steadily expanding its business areas in Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries. It has been proposing customized solutions for local needs by organizing dedicated business and research teams for overseas exports, and has been building trust with Middle Eastern countries through research and development tailored to regional characteristics and after-sales management.
In the Middle East, there is high interest in advanced weapon systems such as the long-range surface-to-air missile system (L-SAM). LIG Nex1 plans to focus all efforts on securing a foundation for sustainable growth by further strengthening its competitiveness in the Middle East market.
