[Financial News] The Presidential Office announced on the 17th, "We will focus on follow-up measures for national tasks and preparations for overseas trips next week."
Deputy Spokesperson Jeon Eunsu of the Presidential Office stated in a written briefing related to follow-up measures for national tasks and overseas trips, "We will strengthen communication with the media surrounding the national vision and major issues of the people's sovereignty government," and announced this.
Deputy Spokesperson Jeon stated, "The three chiefs will sequentially conduct press conferences by field and explain current issues in a Q&A format, including diplomacy, security, policy, economy, and personnel."
Regarding economic issues, Deputy Spokesperson Jeon stated, "We will hold meetings with economic organizations and business leaders to express our gratitude for the multifaceted support shown by our companies during the U.S. tariff negotiations," and explained, "We will review economic performance projects in connection with the scheduled Korea-U.S. summit this month and directly listen to investment and purchase plans and difficulties in the U.S."
Regarding follow-up discussions at the government level, "We are preparing ministerial meetings and joint briefings related to economic growth strategies," and "We will discuss implementation plans focusing on ultra-innovative economic tasks such as AI transformation and SI semiconductors," he reported.
