President Lee watches the movie 'Independence Army' and realizes what sacrifices Korea was built upon

President Lee, after watching 'Independence Army: The Unfinished War' at a theater in Seoul with First Lady Kim Hye-kyung on this day, said, "It is meaningful to watch a significant movie with the people on the 80th anniversary of liberation," according to a written briefing by Kang Yoo-jung, the presidential spokesperson.
This schedule was publicly announced to the public a day in advance under the title 'Movie Viewing with the President', and about 200 people, including ordinary citizens selected through a social network service (SNS) lottery and reporters from the presidential office, participated.
The movie 'Independence Army: The Unfinished War' is a documentary-style film that retraces the fierce independence war led by General Hong Beom-do and traces the roots of the Republic of Korea Army on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of liberation.
