"Obviously Clumsy" Homemade Bomb Carried, Threatening Passersby on the Street

[Financial News]  A man who threatened passersby on the street with a homemade bomb has been sentenced to a fine.
According to the legal community on the 17th, Judge Kim Woong-su of the Seoul Southern District Court recently sentenced a man in his 20s, identified as Kim, to a fine of 6 million won for charges of public intimidation.
Kim was brought to trial for allegedly carrying a homemade bomb made of butane gas, wires, tissues, etc., and wandering around the streets of Yeongdeungpo for about 30 minutes, making threatening remarks to passersby and acting as if he was about to light it with a lighter.
The court pointed out, "The crime is not light as it notified unspecified individuals of harm and could have caused confusion." However, it explained the reason for the sentence, saying, "It seems that people at the scene did not pay much attention as the homemade bomb was obviously clumsy and crude, and he has an intellectual disability."
