Amid this, Lotte Duty Free developed 'Busan Sand' and launched it at the Gimhae Airport store on the 15th. Busan Sand is a product that won the 'Airport Specialized Product Development Contest' organized by Korea Airports Corporation.
Also, on the 7th, the 'Boogi Shop' was opened at the Gimhae Airport store, showcasing Busan's representative tourist souvenirs. This store, opened under a business agreement (MOU) signed with the Busan Tourism Organization last April, sells products from 30 companies with over 300 items.
At the Jeju Airport store's food zone, the sales increased by 142% compared to a year ago by introducing Hallasan Confectionery and Mongre.
On the 5th, the K-Market was opened at the Gimpo Airport store, selling Gimbugak and Cupbokki, medicine, donuts, etc., from over 10 small and medium-sized enterprises. Among the products sold, Hangul snacks are a brand co-founded by foreign broadcaster Tyler Rasch.
