Simultaneous Promotion of Housing Supply and Construction Market Recovery
[Financial News] Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 14th that it has finalized the construction and service order volume for this year at 19.6 trillion won, and will order 11.4 trillion won in the second half. This is an increase of more than 500 billion won from the initial plan and more than 1.4 trillion won from last year's plan.
About 8 trillion won (approximately 70%) of the second half order amount will be concentrated in the public housing construction sector. LH explained, "We have advanced the order timing to stabilize the real estate market through the expansion of housing supply and to revitalize the private construction market," and "We plan to execute 8.3 trillion won, which is 73% of the total volume, by September."
Main planned order sites include △Goyang Changneung S-3·4 Block Construction (472.6 billion won) △Namyangju Wangsuk 4 District Construction (276.3 billion won) △Incheon Gyeyang A10 Block Construction (212.1 billion won).
By order type, the construction sector is 10.4 trillion won, and the service sector is 1 trillion won. The construction sector consists of △Comprehensive Evaluation Bidding 7.1 trillion won (67 cases) △Simplified Comprehensive Evaluation 1.1 trillion won (54 cases) △Qualified Evaluation 1.2 trillion won (234 cases) △Others 1 trillion won (10 cases).
The service sector is △Comprehensive Evaluation 700 billion won (65 cases) △Qualified Evaluation 200 billion won (219 cases) △Others 72 billion won (44 cases). Detailed information on this order plan can be found on the LH electronic procurement system from the 18th.
Kim Jae-kyung, Head of LH Management Headquarters, said, "We have expanded the order plan compared to last year to recover the stagnant construction market and stabilize housing supply," and "We will meticulously manage the monthly and quarterly order schedules and performance to ensure smooth implementation."
