Composed of foreign students, etc. Police "Arrested 11 suspects... to be sent to prosecution"

[Financial News] Seoul Seongdong Police Station announced on the 14th that they had arrested 11 suspects who engaged in joint dangerous acts using multiple motorcycles in the Seongdong-gu and Gwangjin-gu areas last month and plan to send them to prosecution.
According to the police, most of the suspects were composed of foreign students and office workers. They gathered at cafes during nighttime hours, using at least 6 to a maximum of 8 high-priced foreign motorcycles, and engaged in reckless driving such as lifting the front wheel without any justifiable reason.
Under the Road Traffic Act, the act of two or more people driving two or more vehicles in a line causing traffic danger is considered a 'joint dangerous act'.
A police official stated, "Reckless motorcycle driving, joint dangerous acts, and unnecessary loud noise are crimes that disrupt the peaceful daily life of citizens and threaten safety. Therefore, we will actively investigate and strictly respond to the racing culture based on frequent crackdowns in densely populated areas and closed-circuit (CC)TV."
