President Lee: "Honor for Sacrifice for the Nation, Support Generously"

[Financial News] President Lee Jaemyung stated on the 14th, "The saying that three generations are ruined if you engage in the independence movement should no longer be valid. We will honor sacrifices for the nation highly and provide generous support."
President Lee said this at the '80th Anniversary of Liberation, President's Invitation' held at the Blue House reception hall, expressing, "We will make sure that the Republic of Korea can leap forward as a nation that honors veterans, allowing you to live with greater pride."
President Lee said, "I pay tribute to the noble lives of independence activists who dedicated their lives to the independence of the homeland on behalf of the people," and explained, "Honoring the ancestors who made today's Republic of Korea and protecting the honor of the meritorious is a great responsibility for us living in freedom and prosperity today."
Additionally, President Lee stated, "The spirit of liberation, which restored the status of a dignified sovereign 80 years ago, is being revived through you present here," and conveyed, "The descendants of teachers Moon Yangmok, Lim Changmo, Kim Jae-eun, Kim Deok-yun, Kim Hee-joo, and Han Heung-kyu, whose remains were returned from overseas and interred at the national cemetery yesterday, are with us here now. Although late, I hope they rest in peace in the homeland they longed for so much."
President Lee expressed gratitude, saying, "I also thank the descendants of independence activists for not forgetting the spirit, dedication, and sacrifice of their ancestors and for leading the way in informing about the history of independence," and added, "I also extend my gratitude to the veterans' families who are practicing patriotism through their lives in the economic, academic, legal, and military fields."
President Lee especially emphasized, "Each and every one of you is the proud image of creating a better Republic of Korea that our ancestors dreamed of," and added, "Even at this moment, you are working hard together for the independence of Korea."
President Lee stated, "I will take special care to ensure that the surviving patriots can spend their remaining years without discomfort," and added, "Furthermore, we will continuously expand the promotion projects so that future generations can inherit and remember the history and spirit of the independence struggle."
President Lee continued, "Thus, it should be our grand principle to provide special compensation for special sacrifices," and added, "I believe this is the way to make our homeland a more prosperous nation and to properly respond to the dedication of our ancestors."
