Police Rescue Mother and Daughter Trapped in Flooded Vehicle During Heavy Rain

[Financial News] The police discovered a vehicle flooded due to heavy rain and safely rescued the mother and daughter inside.
Seoul Jongam Police Station announced on the 14th that they found a flooded vehicle and rescued a mother and daughter near Seokgye Station on Seoul Subway Lines 1 and 6 at around 12:26 PM the previous day when a heavy rain warning was issued.
The police received a 112 report cooperation request that a vehicle was flooded in the underpass of the Seokgye Station underpass.
Responding to the report, the police broke the passenger seat window with an emergency escape hammer and baton.
A police official stated, "We plan to continue patrolling flooded areas within the jurisdiction to ensure the safety of local residents in preparation for heavy rain."
