Dell Technologies announced on the 13th that it has unveiled two new multipurpose gaming computers, the 'Alienware Aurora Laptop', which provide the ultimate user experience in everyday life, including extreme gameplay, work, learning, and entertainment.
'Alienware Area-51' is a high-end flagship gaming computer with premium features and top-notch specifications in a durable and robust design, while 'Alienware Aurora' is a multipurpose gaming PC with powerful performance in a sleek and simple form factor.
After brand integration, Dell introduces the entry-level 'Alienware 16 Aurora' as the first gaming laptop computer under the 'Alienware Aurora' brand. The 'Alienware 16X Aurora', offering richer game-related features, is scheduled to be released next month.
The most notable feature of these products is their design, which focuses on 'multipurpose' functionality, allowing them to handle games, work, learning, and leisure in various environments with a mysterious and sophisticated appearance inspired by sci-fi aesthetics. Following the 'AW30' design concept commemorating Alienware's 30th anniversary, the satin finish in 'Interstellar Indigo' color reminiscent of space and the emblem emitting a mysterious light capture the charm of the night sky. Additionally, when you want to reduce lighting effects in specific spaces like libraries, cafes, and classrooms, pressing the 'F7 shortcut key' changes the keyboard backlight from flashy lighting to basic white lighting, and the performance mode switches to silent mode, reducing fan noise and extending battery life with the 'Stealth Mode'.
They also boast powerful gaming performance. The 'Alienware 16 Aurora' and 'Alienware 16X Aurora' are based on up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU and Intel Core i9, Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU respectively, implementing 115W and 155W TPP (Total Package Power), and can be configured with up to 32GB, 64GB memory at 5600 MT/s speed and 2TB, 4TB storage, effectively supporting complex multitasking. In particular, the 'Alienware 16X Aurora' features a 16-inch QHD+ display supporting 240Hz refresh rate and 500 nits, equipped with an FHD infrared (IR) camera supporting facial recognition login, and supports NVIDIA G-Sync and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus technology.
These products apply the next-generation 'Alienware Cryo-Chamber Cooling Technology' with 4 exhaust vents, 3 copper heat pipes, an air intake above the keyboard, and dual ultra-thin blade fans to maximize air intake and efficiently dissipate heat, creating a more comfortable and quiet gaming environment.
Furthermore, meticulous user convenience through ergonomic design is also notable. The application of a smooth curved design enhances portability, and the inclusion of a soft palm rest reduces wrist strain during long typing sessions. The 'one-hand open method' finished with a chamfer cutting technique allows easy opening and closing of the laptop with one hand, and the placement of input/output ports at the rear ensures neat cable management and a wider, more comfortable mouse space. Through the gaming environment optimization software 'Alienware Command Center', users can freely adjust various elements such as game-specific profiles and themes, lighting, macros, and audio.
Dell's new gaming computer, the 'Alienware 16 Aurora', is scheduled to be available for pre-order at Coupang at the end of this month.
Kim Kyung-jin, General Manager of Dell Technologies Korea, said, "The 'Alienware Aurora Laptop' is a gaming laptop ambitiously introduced under the 'Aurora' brand for the first time in about 20 years. With this new product, Dell focuses on expanding the mainstream product line and providing consumers with a wider range of choices," adding, "This new product is a lifestyle laptop that is not only suitable for the best gaming experience but also versatile for everyday use, featuring sophisticated and mysterious design, innovative cooling technology, next-generation high-performance technology, and consumer-friendly features such as 'Stealth Mode'."
