Kibo and Seoul Social Venture Hub Join Hands for Social Performance Management

[Financial News] Kibo Technology Guarantee Fund and the Seoul Social Venture Hub, an organization under the Seoul Metropolitan Government supporting social ventures, have joined hands to strengthen the management of social performance for social venture companies.
Kibo announced on the 13th that it has signed a 'Business Agreement for the Spread of Social Performance Management of Social Venture Companies' with the Seoul Social Venture Hub. This agreement aims to establish a foundation for measuring the social performance of social venture companies and to support the discovery and growth of companies with excellent social value, thereby revitalizing the social venture ecosystem.
The two organizations will collaborate in areas such as △support for social value measurement and consulting △providing education related to social value measurement △preferential guarantees for companies with excellent social value △support for corporate promotion and investment attraction.
Kibo plans to quantitatively measure the social value creation performance of companies residing in the hub using its self-developed social value measurement model 'KSVM', and provide preferential growth funds to excellent companies through the 'Social Venture Impact Guarantee'. The Seoul Social Venture Hub will link follow-up support such as promotion and investment attraction based on the measurement results.
Jeong Gyu-yeol, head of Kibo's Seoul Western Regional Headquarters, said, “Through this agreement, we hope that social venture companies can enhance their social value management capabilities in line with the expanding trend of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management and create economic performance through financial support,” adding, “We will strive to revitalize the social venture ecosystem by cooperating with various related organizations.”
Meanwhile, Kibo has been operating the dedicated platform 'Social Venture Square' since 2022, establishing a social value measurement system including discrimination and self-measurement services, and continuing various support.
