Heavy Rain Warning in Various Areas of Seoul...29 Rivers and Jung Sangyo Underpass Road Closed

[Financial News]  With heavy rain falling in Seoul, various rivers in the city have been closed. 
According to the police and the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 13th, access to 29 rivers, including Cheonggyecheon and Anyangcheon, has been blocked due to the heavy rain that started at dawn. Jung Sangyo Underpass Road has also been closed since 6:40 AM.
In the northeast, southwest, and northwest areas of Seoul, a heavy rain warning was issued at 6:30 AM.
The city has issued a 'caution' level 1 alert related to the rain situation and has started emergency duty. 355 city officials and 3,110 people from 25 autonomous districts are on duty to prepare for the heavy rain. Additionally, 31 rainwater pumping stations, including Magok 2 Pumping Station, are in operation.
The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that a heavy rain warning would be effective in the northeast, southwest, and northwest areas of Seoul at 6:30 AM on the same day.
The affected areas are Nowon-gu, Seongbuk-gu, Jungnang-gu, Gwangjin-gu, Dongdaemun-gu, Dobong-gu, Gangbuk-gu, Seongdong-gu (northeast area), Gangseo-gu, Gwanak-gu, Yangcheon-gu, Guro-gu, Dongjak-gu, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Geumcheon-gu (southwest area), Eunpyeong-gu, Mapo-gu, Seodaemun-gu, Yongsan-gu, Jongno-gu, Jung-gu (northwest area).
A heavy rain warning is issued when the expected rainfall is 60mm or more in 3 hours, or 110mm or more in 12 hours. Even with an umbrella, the lower legs will get soaked, so be cautious of accidents such as valley water and river flooding.
