[Financial News] The police have urgently hospitalized a man in his 70s who scribbled on the outer wall of Gwanghwamun in Gyeongbokgung.
Seoul Jongno Police Station announced on the 12th that after investigating suspect Mr. A (79), who was arrested in the act for scribbling with an oil-based marker on the outer wall of Gwanghwamun in Gyeongbokgung, Jongno-gu, Seoul, the previous day, they took emergency hospitalization measures.
The police explained that Mr. A made statements that were not common sense and, being in his 70s, required psychological stability, leading to the emergency hospitalization. They also judged that there was a concern of recurrence.
A police official stated, "The specific details are under investigation and cannot be confirmed."
