[Financial News] KCC Glass Homcc announced on the 12th that it has launched 'Homcc Window One Villas' with enhanced insulation performance.
KCC Glass Homcc combined the Homcc Window One frame with Double Low-E Glass Villas, specially developed for residential use. By applying two layers of silver coating, it added villas with high insulation performance to maximize energy efficiency.
Double-sided chambers and high-strength bending reinforcements were introduced to strengthen insulation and wind pressure resistance on the window sashes. Mohair was applied twice to the window frames to enhance airtightness.
The privacy protection effect was also increased. The double silver coating of the villas has an external view blocking effect. Additionally, with a low light reflectance of about 8%, it reduces light pollution affecting nearby buildings, such as glare.
The thickness of the frame was reduced and the glass area was expanded to enhance lighting and openness. The interior of the window frame was designed with a stepped drainage structure to prevent rainwater ingress even during the monsoon season.
In June, the mandatory certification for Zero Energy Buildings (ZEB) was expanded to the private sector, and government energy-saving policies are being strengthened. KCC Glass expects an increase in demand for high-insulation windows due to this, and plans to strengthen its penetration into the remodeling and reconstruction market with Homcc Window One Villas.
A KCC Glass representative said, "With climate change increasing the burden of heating and cooling costs, consumer interest in high-insulation windows is rising," adding, "We aim to lead the popularization by applying Double Low-E Glass, which was only used in high-end commercial buildings, to the residential window market."
