'Olympics in Jeonju'... IOC Let's Move Campaign Phase 2 Begins

【Financial News Jeonju=Kang In Reporter】 Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province announced on the 11th that it has started the second phase of the national SNS participation event linked to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) global campaign 'Let's Move' to boost the atmosphere for attracting the 2036 Jeonju Summer Olympics.

This event is open until the 31st, where anyone can participate by taking photos or videos of two or more people moving together, posting them on personal SNS, and adding the required hashtags (#LETSMOVE #SupportJeonjuOlympics #OLYMPICDAY #JEONJU).

Light activities such as stretching, walking, dancing, and running are also possible, and participation is completed by submitting the application form along with the capture of the post.

Let's Move is a global campaign commemorating June 23, the founding day of the IOC, where people around the world move together to reflect on Olympic values. This year, it is conducted under the slogan 'Pick Your +1 and Move Together', encouraging activities with friends, family, or partners.

Jeonbuk Province is operating the event three times until October 10, World Mental Health Day, following the IOC's recommendation. The first event was held from June 23 to July 13.

Yoo Hee-sook, head of the Jeonbuk Province Summer Olympics Promotion Team, said, "This campaign is an Olympic support method that anyone can easily participate in daily life," and "We hope you will join us in supporting the Jeonju Olympics with healthy movements."
