According to Boram Sangjo on the 11th, this collaboration started from the interest sparked when actor Hyun Bong-sik's real name 'Hyun Boram' became a meme online during the last season's broadcast. This coincidental connection led to actual production sponsorship.
In the first episode of Season 2, Boram Sangjo appears in a setting where it commissions 'innovative marketing for broad communication with the younger generation' to the marketing company DY Planning led by Shin Dong-yeop. It is a scene that informs that it is a total life care company encompassing various services such as weddings, pets, and bio-jewelry, breaking away from the image of a funeral specialist.
In the meeting scene, as the stereotypes about the funeral industry are broken, the cast members pour out ingenious ideas, creating a cheerful atmosphere.
A Boram Sangjo official said, “The real name of actor Hyun Bong-sik reminded people of our brand, creating a sense of familiarity,” and added, “Through this collaboration, we hope to communicate innovatively with the potential customer base of the MZ generation and imprint a modern image.”
Boram Sangjo sees this PPL as an opportunity to enhance brand image and expand new customer touchpoints.
