[Financial News] Hanmi Semiconductor unveiled an artwork collaborated with world-renowned pop artist Philip Colbert.
Hanmi Semiconductor announced on the 11th that it collaborated with Philip Colbert as part of marketing activities to newly establish the company's brand image. Hanmi Semiconductor is currently reflecting the artwork collaborated with Philip Colbert in outdoor advertisements at the southern end of Dongjak Bridge on Olympic Boulevard.
Philip Colbert, a native of Scotland, UK, is acclaimed as the 'next Andy Warhol' for his unique works using vibrant colors and cartoonish elements. He humorously reinterprets the identity of modern society and the role of art by presenting the lobster as another self and artistic symbol. He showcases his presence as a lobster artist across painting, sculpture, media art, and fashion.
Since 2014, he has held solo exhibitions in art museums worldwide, including △Tate Modern in London △Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam △Saatchi Gallery in LA △Whitestone in Hong Kong △Powerlong Museum in Shanghai △Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow △Sejong Museum of Art in Seoul.
Philip Colbert is also famous for marketing collaborations with global brands such as Samsung, Apple, Nike, Bentley, Rolex, Montblanc, Christian Louboutin, and Comme des Garçons. Since 2023, he has been collaborating with the Italian Serie A football team AS Roma, breaking the boundaries between sports and art.
Philip Colbert explained, "I reinterpreted the Hanmi Semiconductor logo with a pop art sensibility, and the logo colors naturally blend with the red lobster and blue suit," adding, "Through the free form of dripping paint, it conveys the vitality of sunflowers and a positive message."
A Hanmi Semiconductor representative said, "The collaboration with Philip Colbert will be an opportunity to sensibly reinterpret our brand image," adding, "We plan to build unique brand value through not only innovative technology but also fresh marketing."
