[Financial News] Global agricultural machinery specialist TYM is launching a tractor support project for returning young farmers in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
TYM announced on the 11th that it will actively promote the tractor support project for returning young farmers in 2025. Now in its fifth year, this project is a social contribution activity aimed at helping returning young farmers achieve stable agricultural management and settle in their regions. From 2020 to last year, tractors were provided free of charge to 54 returning young farmers.
This year, the collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has increased the project's credibility and fairness. TYM is responsible for providing equipment and organizing the reception and delivery ceremony, while the Ministry handles publicity, evaluation criteria preparation, and the formation of the evaluation committee. External experts participate in the evaluation, and opportunities are provided to young people in need through various promotional channels.
The support targets 16 returning young farmers under the age of 40. The equipment provided is a 55-horsepower tractor. Applications are open until September 12, and the final selection will be announced in November after document screening and evaluation committee review. Evaluation criteria include cultivated crops, gender, marital status, household composition, income level (based on health insurance premiums), and completion of returning farmer education.
Applicants must submit an application form, agricultural management registration confirmation, personal information consent form, and health insurance premium payment confirmation. Applications can be submitted at TYM plazas or dealer locations, or online via the website or email. Detailed information can be found on the official TYM website and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' youth farmer integrated platform 'Tantandaero'.
A TYM representative said, "This project goes beyond simple donations to support the sustainable development of young farmers and our agriculture," adding, "We hope that a single tractor will become a message of encouragement for a new start."
